The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Some have great mapping and obstacles avoidance. Others even wash and refill mopping pads themselves for a hands-free cleaning.
The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that also mops then this is the model you should go for. It's smaller than other options on this list making it easier to navigate into tight corners and underneath furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in robot vacuums. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes if cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can be more efficient when using turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery mid-clean.
It's extremely fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single pass. The motor's 8,000pa power allows it to remove dirt hair, pet hair, and poop effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.
The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by much. The mop rotates at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms extend out slightly more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger debris like books and broken toys.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't produce the same volume of sound when mopping or vacuuming and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It's easy to install and works well, but this is something that you'll need to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it a great option for homeowners looking for an efficient, flexible and ad-hoc cleaning machine.
The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This allows it to map out your home and identify furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean methodically and effectively. This will ensure a thorough and consistent clean, while also being relatively rapid.
The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach many surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other difficult to reach spots. The side brush can be stretched to reach the floor near to the walls and other fixtures. Additionally, the mop pads can be dried and washed to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce odors.

You can also set the number of passes it must make, which will affect how quickly the device can move through your home. You can also disable the side brush in order to prevent damage to carpets and carpets.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, that is, it can do both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two components, a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping module which is equipped with microfiber pads. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping but it does mean you don't need to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank of water.
The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature was its accurate floorplan that it uses to create the path to follow when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting "No-Go zones" as well as virtual barriers, which help to keep certain areas of your house from being swept with a mop.
We also found that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in removing pet hair. It was able to capture an enormous amount of hair that shed by our cats and even was able to get into the nooks and crevices of our stairs which other robots struggled. It was relatively quiet and even had some nice jingles that let you know when it was beginning or completing its task.
The app was too basic and you had to alter the modules every time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app is not able to save multiple maps. This could be an issue if your house has multiple floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who are looking for a smart device that can vacuum and mop.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have some unique features which make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and the 2.5 liter dust bin.
The base also comes with a set of control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents worried about their children messing around with the vacuum.
Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally get caught up in an obstruction, such as an electrical cord dangling across a rug that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you free it. This was a rare occurrence however, it was a bit frustrating since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert in its application.
Another issue that could be a problem is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during cleaning. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but mopping pads don't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.
On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad. It's a significant difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's an excellent choice for the market that is dominated by boxy units.
